This event took place September 1, 2021. At the time, nationally, 58.4% of long-term care facility staff were vaccinated for COVID-19. As part of our continued effort to protect residents from exposure to COVID-19, it is important to engage in conversations with staff about vaccine hesitancy to help increase staff vaccination rates.
Telligen hosted this interactive virtual event featuring guest speaker, Dr. Leslie Eber. Dr. Eber was voted Medical Director of the Year by AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. During this event Dr. Eber identified strategies for conversations about the vaccine with your staff, explained realistic expectations when discussing the COVID-19 vaccine, and identified one strategy to try next week.
