Event Description:

Is your Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program functioning efficiently? According to 483.75 Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement for nursing homes, and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement – Conditions of Participation for hospitals, do your processes reflect QAPI standards?

QAPI is required and expected in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)-certified healthcare settings. Using CMS’s QAPI at a Glance, Telligen is offering QAPI 101 mini collaboratives. These sessions will support efforts to confirm QAPI methods are instilled into daily practices. The mini collaborative format is two virtual one-hour sessions with an action period after each session. Recommended action steps will be provided prior to attending the first session. After completing the two sessions and action periods, healthcare teams will have the basic skills and information needed to confirm QAPI practices and methodologies are instilled and sustained.

Persons in healthcare leadership and quality roles, management, supervisory, infection preventionists, nursing home MDS roles, and members of QAA/QAPI teams.
