Join us for a special event with guest speaker, Dr. Anuj Mehta. Dr. Mehta will discuss management of critically ill COVID-19 patient in small, rural and critical access hospitals, providing the most up-to-date approaches and strategies for improving the delivery of care for these vulnerable patients.

• Intubation of the COVID-19 patient
• Ventilator strategies for patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome which applies to COVID-19
• Making sure a patient is safe for transfer

Speaker:

Dr. Anuj Mehta is a pulmonary and critical care physician at Denver Health and Hospital Authority and holds adjunct appointments at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado. He served as the Chair of the Colorado Governor’s Expert Emergency Epidemic Response Committee (GEEERC) Medical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation.
