Emergency Preparedness
Planning for both natural and man-made disasters is a priority for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The COVID-19 pandemic made it even more evident that emergency preparedness is critically important. Telligen is committed to helping providers and community partners ensure their plan works.
Applying Cost-Benefit Analyses
Across the states of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Oklahoma, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has referred nursing homes to Telligen for COVID-19-related interventions. We present Telligen’s evaluation methods and identify implications for the accuracy and conclusions stemming from return on investment and cost-benefit analyses.
Improving Care Coordination
Telligen has engaged with South Denver Care Continuum for a decade with one of many goals being to help them grow and foster an interdependent leadership structure that promotes sustainability without reliance on the QIN-QIO for continued operation. SDCC has persevered and remained true to their goal of reducing avoidable 30-day readmissions despite many roadblocks over the years.

About the Telligen QIN-QIO

Serving the states of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Oklahoma as a Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), we’re harnessing the collective power of healthcare providers, communities and individuals to help drive improvement and change.

Telligen QI Connect™ is a network of partners working on healthcare quality improvement initiatives that are data-driven and locally-tailored to improve healthcare quality and outcomes by implementing and spreading evidence-based and best practices.
