Event Description:

This course will provide the most current information related to preventive visits. We will discuss the components of the Initial Preventive Physical Examination and Annual Wellness Visits including Telehealth. Links will be provided to Medicare resources in addition to responding to questions.

Janet Hunter, Novitas Solutions (CO & OK MAC):

Janet Hunter has more than 37 years of Medicare experience. She began processing claims and progressed to customer service, correspondence, quality, internal training and supervisor of Provider Outreach and Education. She led several projects including coordinating ISO certification and workload transitions. Janet has developed both internal and external educational activities. Janet developed curriculum and trained several Medicare contractors transitioning to the current claims processing system. She has presented at several large national Medicare Advantage Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) sponsored seminars.

Ms. Hunter has been with Novitas Solutions for 7 years serving providers as an Education Specialist which includes Provider Outreach and Education activities.

Janet Hunter attended Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, TX.
